Slaughter Symphony: Snowball VS Grapefruit

“If you get conquered by Ego, then you are losing the fight.” -Edgar Ramirez

We all know that guy, that guy who thinks he's hot stuff, that he can take on anything the world throws his way, that he's stronger than you, only to be promptly embarrassed when he actually tries to pull something grandiose off, which is where we find out two combatants today.

Snowball, BFDI's strongest, and dumbest contestant.

Grapefruit, the muscle-bound hot shot of the kitchen.

It's only natural to see these two guys prove themselves as better than the other, so if they did duke it out, who would come out on top? Well let's find out on Slaughter Symphony!

Before We Begin

For Snowball, I’ll be allowing all seasons of the show thus far, since it’s pretty clear they all tie into each other, and are noted to be past events by the cast. Non-Canon episodes like Claustrophobe's Nightmare or Pie VS Pi will not be considered however, since... well, they aren't canon.

As for Grapefruit, it’s difficult to tell what exactly Annoying Orange canon is, given all the many different unexplained scenario’s he’s put in like appearing throughout time, but if I had to guess, I’d say the cast are equivalent of actors, with Ask Orange referencing previous events, including parodies like Terminator, so I think those are meant to be canon as well. Similarly, the show does reference its time during Cartoon Network as well, likely meaning its also canon, so I’ll be including it and the episodes of the internet series in the blog. I won’t include everything though. For example, the theme song is implied to be non-canon, since the same episode does establish questionable things within other theme songs, so including things like Grapefruit’s lightsaber wouldn’t make much sense. Similarly, since Previously On is meant to be a parody of epic trailers with underwhelming conclusions, it’s implied the events in it didn’t actually happen, so things like Grapefruit’s giant ship won’t be considered.

Also, no I’m not giving either of these two crossover scaling, so Orange and therefore Grapefruit won’t scale to Universal feats from Mario or Shang Tsung or anything like that. In fact, some of them, like his Dragon Ball scaling, actually feature original characters based on the characters from the original series, rather than the characters themselves, so it makes even less sense to scale them there. We'll go into more detail on that later.

It’s also worth mentioning, both of these two have died in the past and were brought back via outside interference in the past. I won’t consider these for the fight since… Well, it’s outside help, though for Grapefruit it’s a little unclear… we’ll discuss that later.

Lastly, a bit of a disclaimer. I had this blog on hold for a while, and since both of these franchises are still ongoing, there's bound to be a feat I haven't talked about in this blog, so it might be a little outdated. Sorry in advance.

Introduction

Snowball

"I'm the only one who really deserves Dream Island. The rest are all WEAK LOSERS!"

The in-universe origins of the BFDI cast aren't very clear yet, and Snowball is no exception. We first see him (In the show at least) just hang-gliding without a care in the world, and serving as just one of many contestants on his team, with his trick being high strength but low intelligence and a short temper, quickly leaving to him knocking away the more intelligent yet demanding Golf Ball, and typically just doing things his own way.
This didn't make him very popular, only surviving on his team from the even worse Flower being on there, but it did make him helpful, especially for any tie breaker by being the first to break the tie for his team. Eventually though, his arrogance got caught up with him, leading to him getting kicked off the team, only surviving over Teardrop by one vote from the contestants, despite breaking records from the viewers, and from there, he... didn't really prove any more helpful, especially considering how he popped his own team's balloons when he had to pop the others, just because he didn't like the color pink. As soon as the teams dissolved, his high vote count caught up to him, and he was promptly sent to the TLC.
Several months/years cooped up in there might have humbled him though, considering how he's a lot calmer once he's finally let out in Episode 21 and 25, and it actually stuck with him being more co-operative with Iance, lasting much longer and even finding a new friend with Grassy, whom he took under his wing. Eventually though, he was outed once again, so he told Grassy goodbye one last time, and accepted his position of 16th/17th place.

Grapefruit

"Let me spell it out for you: chicks did the Grapefruit! Ain't that right, baby?"

Grapefruit started off life like all foods do in the kitchen, dropped off by DaneBoe to meet up with the main resident, the Annoying Orange. He wasn't very polite, constantly going on about his physique and being a fowl mouth to the orange. Eventually, he was killed, but his family swore revenge on the Orange for his death, most of which also dying in the same way.
Eventually, Grapefruit returned thanks to the work of Dr. Franken-Fruit, reattached alongside various other fruits and veggies in the kitchen to crush Orange with his newfound muscles. Not long after though, he was mauled by the Hallo-Wienie but not actually killed, leaving him just kind of stuck with the rest of the kitchen crew, usually causing trouble for them all, such as when he set Marshmallow's pictures on fire.
While his arrogant nature never went away, he did become a lot more accepting of the fruits around him, partaking in friendly challenges (that he usually lost), getting invited to a few movie trailers, and even saving his former rival from the monstrous Analog Orange

Skill and Intelligence

Snowball

There’s not a lot of combat feats in BFDI, though at the very least, Snowball is often the one that comes the closest to starting or picking fights with others, thanks to his ego and anger issues.

Intelligence wise, Snowball is… well, pretty dumb to be honest, he’s very much a brawn over brain style character, and as such his fighting style likely reflects utilizing pure brute force.

Grapefruit

Grapefruit has been trained in FruitJitsu, and when combined with his higher physicality, means he likely scales above Orange’s own skill feats. For reference, Orange is skilled in Carrot-tay and Kung Fruit, to a point where he became a ninja, which usually requires at least 3 Years. Theoretically, you could scale Orange to Coconut and the Carrot Sensei, both of which have black belts, though there's not really any implications on Grapefruit being comparable, given how he has a blue belt, and how he clearly lost to Coconut in their battle. He’s also smart enough to tell apart gummy and real food in a lot of ways and is actually pretty knowledgeable on the arts such as painting.

Equipment

Snowball

Teleporting Bracelet

Ever since TPOT 4, GB has given the teams a teleporting bracelet, which… well, allows the user to teleport.

Yoyleberry

While it might just look like a purple berry, Yoyleberries have an interesting effect to turn anyone who eats it into metal, usually making the opponent tougher and heavier.

Grapefruit

Weights

Grapefruit loves to show off his strength, so lifting weights is usually his go to.

Monkey Wrench

Used to fight against zombies, it's a pretty standard wrench he chucks, because some people (Probably Orange) call him Apefruit.

Windmill

He apparently just has this, and attached Orange to one of it's blades to spin him around.

Catapult

Depsite it being a long range tool, Grapefruit mostly used it up close to smash Orange from... like, a foot away.

Spinny… thing

I'm not sure how he got this, but it's probably useful to disorient his opponent.

Smart Boy Book

Some people love Smart boys, so Grapefruit meshed his intellect with combat and can use his book to create the "Smart Boy Special"

Fruit Cart

Yes, he used his own fruit cart as a weapon.

Axe

Used to try and fail to break through Orange’s cell.

The Sword of Ktichenshire

Forged in the depth of… oh, it’s already broken. Yeah, this sword’s probably meant to be flame proof, presumably forged in lava, but it’s pretty cleanly cut through by a 1000 degree knife, so that’s not the case. Grapefruit also has some chainmail armor to go along with it.

Tranquilizer Gun

Though if he had an actual gun, it wouldn’t be out of the question, especially since most of the cast also has one. This is used for sleeping darts, which might make it more useful since it’s a bit of a hack.

Abilities

Snowball

Physiology

Snowball is… well, a Snowball, which alone makes him a non-biological entity that should make him less vulnerable to biological attacks. Not necessarily invulnerable, since we can see objects get poisoned, but he is still capable of things other living entities normally can’t do, such as breathing in space due to not having lungs.

4th Wall Awareness

(Side Note: A lot of these images don't feature Snowball, but since a lot of these abilities are possessed by various objects, most of which don't have special abilities themselves, giving them to him should be fair game)

The contestants are aware of their existence as fictional characters within a fictional world with the main gimmick being that the higher plane viewers can vote them to win or lose the game, and as such a lot of them can talk to the viewers because of this.

Non-Physical Interaction

This can extend even further through them interacting with metafictional objects, like the screen’s shape. Using similar capabilities, contestants can interact with Firey, despite him also acting similarly to real fire, as well as Nonexisty to an extent.

Elasticity

Characters can extend their limbs to very high proportions, about as far as inner space, which is consistent as Coiny extended his arm this long while at an atomic scale.

Air Manipulation

Contestants are capable of moving objects just by blowing hard enough. Pen in particular may have used a matter of perspective to blow X’s basket.

Hammerspace

In true Cartoony fashion, contestants can pull out objects bigger than they are.

Super Senses

Snowball was able to sense GB getting close without being able to see her. Other contestants are capable of similar feats.

Two's Power

Yeah, as of TPOT 19, Snowball got a little bit of Two's power. I don't think this means he fully scales to him, since it is... well, a little bit, but he should be able to do at least some of what 2 can normally do, just on a smaller scale, including...
  • Flight
  • Forcefield Creation (2's is strong enough to protect from Lightning)
  • Attack Reflection (Attacks from the Rift bounce off the forcefield)
  • Stat Amplification
  • Size Manipulation (Roughly up to a Building wide scale for 2)
  • Battlefield Removal (Can teleport others)
  • Telekinesis (2 Tore up a volcano)
  • Plant Manipulation (2 can change a landscape and add trees onto it)
  • Dream Manipulation (2 can put people into nightmares)
  • Sleep Manipulation (2 can put a handful of contestants to sleep)
  • Duplication (2 can clone himself)
  • Energy Projection
  • Fire Manipulation
  • Lightning Manipulation
  • Ice Manipulation
  • Reality Warping (2 can manipulate the sun in all sorts of ways)
  • Creation (2 can create buildings)
  • Power Bestowal (2 and 4 can transfer said power to others)
  • Transmutation (2 turned the sun into a spikey ball)
  • Weather Manipulation (2 can reshape clouds into voting numbers)
  • Summoning (Pencil with 2's power can summon a bunch of bugs)
  • Possibly Time Manipulation (1 can send Pencil through time, though it's debatable if this is caused by his, 4's or 1's power)
  • Possibly Existence Erasure (1 can erase people across the timeline, though it's unknown if this is something 2 can replicate)

Grapefruit

Physiology

Grapefruit is… well, a Grapefruit, which alone makes him a non-biological entity that should make him less vulnerable to biological attacks. However he does have a few human features, like a face, butt and skull, so he’s not necessarily immune to this ability.

Energy Manipulation

Grapefruit can shoot an energy ray from his butt Death Star style. Yeah, welcome to Annoying Orange.

Flight

The image above also shows him casually flying.

4th Wall Awareness

Orange is fully aware of the audience watching him, and likely other characters are as well. Orange can also just throw away a title card, so it's possible the cast can also interact with metafictional objects.

Size Manipulation Resistance

Grapefruit wasn’t shrunken down anywhere near as much as the other characters when hit by Dr. Banana’s Fruitizer Minimizer

Resurrection/Regeneration (Debatable)

Objects in Annoying Orange seem to survive a lot of stuff, often feeling pain but not dying from getting chopped up. Most notably, characters like Pear, Tomato, Coconut, Lime, Banana and Grapefruit himself get turned into a liquid, and come back fine not too long after.

It is worth mentioning that there is a canon reason as to how Grapefruit came back after his first episode, being revived by Frankenfruit, and similarly there exists a remote capable of turning back time to resurrect Orange when he died. I don’t know if something similar happened within other instances when the other characters died though, so I’ve considered this a debatable ability.

Forms

Snowball

Yoyle Metal Ball

Yoyle Metal typically buffs a character's strength and durability, so reasonably Snowball should be tougher with this stuff. It also likely prevents biological attacks, since Snowball couldn't get bitten by zombies with this form, and Leafy was unphased by attempts to freeze her with freeze serum.

Grapefruit

Neutrino

Basically, he’s Magneto, but with Vegetables, where he can move vegetables around with his mind and use them as ammunition. Yeah, kind of messed up. Also, this seems to mostly work on veggies, and maybe Copper Lincoln, but not fruits or other objects, so… probably kind of useless against Snowball. It’s also worth mentioning that when the other fruits had powers, it seemed to eventually go away after… let’s say a few minutes, though the ending does show that Grapefruit still has his.

Dr. Apefruit

Another Supervillain Alter Ego, we don’t know the extent of Apefruit’s abilities, but he’s likely stronger than before considering his size and how he represents King Kong, who is based on a gorilla, he’s likely at least ten times stronger than his base form, since a gorilla is about that strong compared to a human. He’s also pretty dang big, considering how he’s comparable to a building.

Toothpick

In AnnoyingOrange.EXE, a possessed Annoying Orange turned his friends into dangerous objects, like a cleaver, knife, and… well, Grapefruit got the short end of a stick. He couldn’t even harm anyone with this form.

Allies/Summons

Snowball

As far as we've seen, Snowball doesn't really have any support, so...

Grapefruit

The Kraken

In Annoying Orange VS Angry Birds, Grapefruit can summon the Kraken to destroy the Pigs and their structure.

Kitchen-Mon (Debatable)

Alongside his rival, Orange, Grapefruit’s got a couple of KitchenMon each episode to fight Orange with. This seemed to be a bit battlefield specific through a Pokeball cracking to change animation style, but still worth mentioning because… I just wanted to bring it up, alright?

  • Little Apple

  • Grandpa Lemon

    • Sleepwave (Puts the opponent to sleep)

    • Likely has similar moves to his canon self, such as…

      • A motorcycle

      • Was part of the US Revolution as Benjamin Franklemon, and another war

  • Zoom

    • Extreme Spray (Sprays the opponent with his juice… ew)

  • Squash

    • Squash (Squashes the Opponent… used against Grapefruit, though he survived this instance)

  • Nude Dude

    • Censor Bar (Just freaking smacks the opponent with it)

  • Knife

    • Chop Chop (Used to chop up fruits… also used against Grapefruit)

  • TNT

    • Self-Destruct (Self-Explanatory)

  • Liam the Leprechaun

Scaling

Snowball

Various Contestants

Snowball constantly claims how he’s one of the strongest contestants, and while the validity of this is questionable considering his ego, it stands to reason that he’s at least comparable to the rest of the cast, rather than being constantly bodied by each member. Similarly, we’ve seen him casually move faster and toss other contestants, so it’s likely he is a relatively strong one.

Strength:

Durability:

Speed:

Hosts

While they might seem clearly superior to the other contestants, especially Algebrians like 4 or 2, a lot of that is mostly due to haxes, rather than stats or any narrative reason. Some hosts are basically just contestants, and the contestants themselves have harmed the other hosts, again including Snowball himself, so it’s likely he is somewhere around that range. That said, I don’t think he fully scales to some of those haxes, and simply their physical forms, which I’ll explain more in the verdict. He also does have a little bit of 2's power, so he should at least downscale from 2's feats.

Strength:

Durability:

Speed:

Grapefruit

Orange

The star… er, I mean Orange of the show himself, Grapefruit does threaten Orange a lot, especially early in the series. He’s shown to pretty easily overpower him, so it stands to reason that he should be comparable to Orange normally.

Kitchen Crew

Orange is responsible for a lot of the best feats in the series, but he’s not noted to be particularly that strong by comparison, and neither is Grapefruit despite all the exercise he does. I mean, Little Apple kicked his butt when they fought in the alternate timeline, meaning he likely scales to some of the other members.

Weaknesses

Snowball

Snowball is very much a Brawn over Brain character, as while strong, he’s also a complete idiot, best shown off in the episode, Are You Smarter Than a Snowball, where he doesn't know how to write down his own name. Similarly, it’s said that the highest score he received on a test was a -7%, which was actually a -75% where he ripped the five off out of anger. Combine that with massive overconfidence, such as when he infamously tied up everyone into a ball and carried them around, only to tire himself out in the 10-legged race in Insectophobe's Nightmare 1, and this makes SB a terrible team player. It also means he likely would overestimate his own capabilities, regardless of who the opponent may be.

On top of that, due to being made of snow, SB is more vulnerable to high temperatures than other objects, as shown by him being the first to address the TLC’s high temperature, and being bothered by the sun being in the TLC, when compared to other contestants standing on the sun without much issue.

Grapefruit

Much like his opponent, Grapefruit is very overconfident, and as such will often overestimate his own capabilities, usually leading to him being the butt of the joke. Also, he apparently doesn’t know how Simon Says works.

Before The Verdict

Obligatory Gag Feat Explanation

I figured it would look questionable to give Snowball and Grapefruit their gag feats, and deny Spongebob’s, so I think this discussion should clear things up a bit more.

Starting with Grapefruit this time, it’s kind of hard to distinguish gag feats from serious feats in "Annoying Orange", as there isn’t much of a “Plot” or “Arc” in most episodes, nor much continuity. Remember, there have been plenty of occasions where characters that should’ve died, came back without much issue not long after. There are some, like the Analog Orange arc to try and bring back Orange after his analog horror counterpart captured him, but they’re few and far between. This is especially apparent in Ask Orange, where each question is answered in a few seconds for a quick gag and any destruction from it usually doesn’t last long. It’s like trying to find gag feats in Animaniacs, or Robot Chicken, or MAD, where it’s hard to tell what feats pertain to the plot or not, because… well, there isn’t one. In fact, the only feat I can think of that’s taken seriously in AO, is when Orange becomes a vortex that would suck up the universe, so Pear and Little Apple have to stop it before it does that.

On the other hand, there are some in BFDI, since certain events, while cartoony, are necessary for a team to win a challenge, like when various contestants moved a giant sun, and rotated the Earth to move it away, were both necessary for one team to complete the challenge by making X colder, while others like Puffball tilting Saturn, don’t add anything other than comedic effect. Despite this however, I do think they are consistent with the legit feats from before, when compared to something like Spongebob, who struggles to lift Marshmallows when relevant, but not the universe when irrelevant.

The BFDI Cosmology

I never thought I’d go through with this.

There is some debate as to whether or not there exists a universe inside Earth, as both the video description and Cary himself refer to the 3-D Hell as a universe, which could buff up any feat that affects the Earth, putting rotating the Earth at 13.8 ZettaFoe, and Donut shoving it into a camera at 1.3425 ZettaFoe. However, I don’t think this refers to Hell’s actual size, and more so it’s nature as a third dimensional realm in an otherwise second dimensional one, as both the description and Cary refer to it as “3-D Universes,” and Cary himself says "You have your 2-D world and your 3-D world, and if 2-D bodies exist in the 3-D world, it's like a clash." So Universes here refer to two separate planes of reality and art styles instead of actual universes, so I don’t think the higher end calcs are very viable.

Also, Cary did kind of imply the universe is infinite, by saying that Nonexisty could take up the entirety of space to make him infinitely large, though I’m hesitant on how true this is given it was a small comment, and even if it was true, I don’t think anyone really scales to it given how there’s only one Universal Feat thus far, and it’s from a likely non-canon video not made by Cary or Michael Huang, which if it was canon, would be inconsistent with previous showings of other contestants being superior to one another, which wouldn’t be the case if they all had infinite stats.

There are other universes within the series, such as our universe, the ones with Algebralians, and likely many more considering Multiverse theory and the timeline shenanigans, but it's unlikely anyone scales to these for reasons we'll get to later.

Do the contestants scale to Puffball/their Spaceships?

You could argue that a contestant shouldn’t scale to their physical speed by piloting spaceships, rather than reaction speeds as outside of Puffball, none of the other contestants seem to move in tandem with their ships, however there have been instances of contestants being comparable to Puffball as well, like here when Pin and Needle outrun a Zombified Puffy, and similarly, Snowball was shown to be faster than the rest of the cast, so I think it’s fair to scale them to their ships. Pencil’s rocket is a bit more debatable, mostly since we aren’t given any perspective as to whether or not she could pilot it similarly, but I am willing to bet it’s similar to the ships the other contestants had, so I think it’s acceptable.

1 resets the universe

So, in the episode Seasonal Shift, One managed to snap her fingers (or toes I guess) and restore the collapsing timeline, which would be roughly around Universal+ to Low Multiversal depending on its size, and I have seen an argument that since Two can amplify his strength, and the other contestants can harm him, they should scale, so… do they? …I don't think so.

The thing is, this is a bit of a specific scenario where it occurred because of a time paradox, where One more so just reversed said paradox rather than recreate the universe similar to someone like Alien X doing the same, so it’s more of a matter of her time haxes, rather than her own physical strength. Plus, in the instant shown, Two clearly had to amplify his strength to punch the block at clearly much higher strength than the other contestants, so it’s unlikely they scale to an amped Two at all. On top of that, it's later confirmed that there exist multiple timelines, as 1 recently deleted Gaty and a few other contestants from it, but since they were from a previous one, they still remember said contestants, meaning it's more than likely that 1 just took the cast to another timeline, rather than fix it.

Black Hole Sucks Everything Up

One of the highest feats in the series comes from Black Hole sucking up his entire dream, calced at Nonillions of times faster than light, however I’m personally against this and many other feats that consider the volume of the universe since it’s often a overinflated value, and in this case, I believe outside of the fact that hardly anyone scales to it, since Tree and Fanny needed equipment to outpace him, but it’s not really one where volume should be considered, as this was an Area of Effect attack of Black Hole consuming the world around him, rather than a feat of him traveling across the universe in its entirety. That said, using that value, Black Hole sucking up everything I think would be 135.060217168 Meters Per Second instead… which is actually surprisingly low. Alternatively, you could consider him crossing 2000 Light Years per second or 63 Billion C, which is a more fair and consistent estimate considering feats like the upcoming one.

Donut Dodging a Gamma Ray

Another high feat comes from Gardening Zero, where Donut moves in tandem with a gamma ray, calculated at 621 Billion C… kind of. The calc apparently has issues with Gaty being the source, and reconsidered it to Quadrillions of times faster than light, though in that case, even if Gaty isn’t the most reliable source, there isn’t really any other assessment on how far away it is, and I think it’s credible given how other shows use idiot characters to have smart observations from time to time, so one that hasn’t shown many intelligence feats stating something similar isn’t too far-fetched, especially since that is the joke here. Also, while some would argue that Donut doesn’t scale to this speed feat, he actually does move at the same time as the burst hits Earth, just not quite as fast if you go frame by frame, so I think it’s perfectly viable.

Evil Leafy/Bug Scaling

These two go hand in hand, so I’m covering them both at once. There’s some debate on the cast scaling to Evil Leafy, though killing bugs that ate a giant pink version of her, which would be MSS considering she has a pocket dimension with stars inside, however there are a few issues with this.

  1. It's debatable if this Evil Leafy also has a MSS Pocket Dimension, as it's never shown and this one isn't as big of a threat as the original Evil Leafy.

  2. The bugs the other contestants could harm were few and further between, while GPEL was killed by a horde of them

  3. The contestants pretty blatantly die from the same bugs, so there's no reason why they should scale to them at all.

TV Moving Black Hole

The feat itself isn’t necessarily a problem I have here. TV isn’t noted to have had any upgrades during his time as a host, and even then, it’s not by that big of a degree to a point where Snowball doesn’t scale. That said, the calc for the feat assumes Black Hole is the same size as he was just before BFB, however this is unlikely given how he’s still fairly comparable to the rest of the cast in this shot, so I doubt that would actually be the case, meaning I think the distance for the calc is inaccurate, so I think this should be recalculated.

Using Match as a reference instead, since she has an official height of 8’4”... which sounds pretty tall to be honest, but anyway, in the image she’s 58 pixels tall, meaning each pixel would be 1.72413793103 inches. Using the same pixel measurements for how far he moved, that would mean Black Hole moved 105.172413793 inches or 2.6713793103422 meters in 0.04 seconds, which would also be 66.7844827586 Meters Per Second, and using similar mass since I don’t think that changed for him, TV would deliver 8.8712724e+34 Joules or 21.2 Yottatons of TNT. Impressive, but a lot lower than the previous calc.

Flower Blocking a Laser

While you could argue if the laser is legit or not, given how in one instance it doesn’t travel in a straight line, the values here can actually get even higher if we consider the distance, like how one hit the sun. That said, one value reaches 82 Billion C by assuming they were close to the Orion Nebula, however, they aren’t, as we can visibly see a blue sky from where the lasers are fired, rather than a starry one, meaning these lasers were still in Earth’s atmosphere rather than that far away, however one could argue that those same lasers could still travel that far, but this is hard to say since we aren't given an exact location on where the space lasers are in the first place. Personally I'd lean towards this not being legit, but it is a pretty consistent feat on it's own on account of the other Billions C feats, so it really could go either way. On the plus side, it doesn't really affect the verdict.

Can The Power of Two drain the powers of others?

Most likely not, or at least not in a helpful way, as it only seems to drain those specifically of 2's power, not of their normal powers.

Omnipotent Orange

(Sick fight art tho)

A fairly recent episode of Ask Orange features Analog Orange having mass control of the video, transcending reality and being woven into it, casually destroying worlds which likely imply universes, as stated by both himself and by Pear’s book, and similarly he does control a lot within the second video, however I don’t think that automatically makes him Boundless for a few reasons.

  1. He actually is defeated at the end of one video by dancing hippos, so for him to be boundless then he must not have any weaknesses to exploit, and similarly, he is capable of being weakened if one can find the seven horcruxes.

  2. Similarly, him being able to be stopped according to Pear’s Book would also be inconsistent with the Boundless term

  3. Even if it was legit, there’s no way we can scale Grapefruit to this, since he needs the horcruxes to weaken Orange anyway.

Universal Orange/Dimension Sour

In one episode, Orange turns into a vortex said to suck up the universe, which could attribute to a Black Hole given how this was seemingly caused by Orange collapsing into a singularity, though it’s not actually referred to one in this case, but rather a vortex. The issue I have however is that it was said that Orange would suck up the Universe “If we don’t stop it,” implying it would take some time for him to do so, rather than be instantaneous.

On the topic, some say that Orange sucked up the universe, but this isn’t really shown or stated. The most we see affected was the sun and a few planets, and the comment just says that he “Inhaled like Kirby,” implying it was more of the action of inhaling itself, rather than actually being comparable to Kirby in attack potency, especially since Kirby himself also hasn’t shown sucking up a universe. Shocking, I know.

There’s another instance of a universal feat, where the universe ends in one episode, and in the next episode, the characters seem fine. Now, this feat I don’t think is as questionable as the other two, since it’s pretty blatantly stated that the universe is destroyed, and we see a visible galaxy explosion implying the rest of the universe blew up alongside it. That said, there is debate on whether or not the cast actually survived this and therefore it counts as a durability feat they would scale too, or if it was just a matter of negative continuity. Even if it did count, it’s a pretty clear outlier compared to the much more frequent Planet to Star Level stuff in universe, so I don’t think it should qualify.

Immeasurable Orange

In Time to Burn, Orange can fly fast enough to travel through time to the era of the dinosaurs, which would be Immeasurable speed. While impressive, this was through him chugging too much hot sauce to a point of propelling himself like a rocket, rather than normal physical speed, so again Grapefruit wouldn’t be able to scale to this anyway.

Multi-Solar System/Trillions C Orange

In How 2 Use Uber, Orange and Pear seemingly become constellations, which would be Large Star to Multi-Solar System Level depending on if we consider the distance between each star, however while How2 might be canon, considering just how loose AO canon is, I don’t think the visuals in it are, and this is mostly just a matter of an editing trick rather than an actual ability Orange can pull off.

While we’re on the subject of How2, Orange also mentions an intergalactic spaceship which he is shown to pilot in the visual, however this is clearly just a fantasy he’s having rather than the real deal.

Star Level Orange

In an episode of Ask Orange, Orange blows up the sun with a gun. I don’t have to explain the stats of blowing up a sun, but it is worth mentioning that while the beam is fired, the action itself is seemingly offscreen, as when he fires the gun,  there’s just an explosion, meaning it’s debatable as to whether or not it was just a random explosion, the sun was destroyed, or it led to an explosion that also encompassed the Earth. Personally, I would think given the context it would be one of the latter two factors, and given how Orange and Pear are fine in the next episode, I think it should scale to Grapefruit’s durability. Plus, there is another Star Level feat of Orange casually sucking the sun up that I think Grapefruit should also scale to, especially since he survived that same attack, and a handful of planetary feats, so it’s not like this is a one-time thing.

Verdict

Stats

Looking at Strength and Durability first, these two are surprisingly even. For a low end, Grapefruit would scale to just the GBE of the Sun, while Snowball scales to the GBE of a giant sun, which would be roughly 2869.56521739 times stronger… which doesn’t sound that high, but if we use a mid-end for Grapefruit, he would scale to 8.41 FOE, a third stronger than Snowball’s feat. As for the high end, assuming Grapefruit scales to Orange moving the sun at 93% light speed at 773 FOE, while Snowball scales to the same giant sun moving at similar speed at 181.65 thousand FOE, 235 times stronger.

Speed however, Snowball has a clear edge in. Even without considering scaling to Puffball or spaceships, he can dodge light-based attacks on a much more consistent basis than Grapefruit, and with it he just blitzes with Thousands to Billions of times faster than light speed, compared to Grapefruit just being around Light Speed. In fact, for comparison, the difference between the Speed of Light and a Snail is 22.35 billion times, so clearly, Snowball takes Speed and most likely Strength.

Arsenal & Abilities

Generally, these two don’t have that many haxes or abilities to work with. Snowball’s teleporting and elasticity give him better range and mobility, and… there’s not much else to be honest, at least, not unless we start stretching things for Grapefruit.

While Snowball’s strength is generally higher, it’s actually not as handy if we assume Grapefruit can regenerate, as multiplying his durability by the amount necessary to pulverize human flesh at 12.9 Joules per CC, (Which I know isn’t what Grapefruit is made of, but it’s the best comparison I could think of), it would require 9,971.7 FOE to destroy him, and if we also consider the volume of an actual Grapefruit at 1072.5333 Cubic Centimeters, would multiply the amount even further at 10,694,980.3076 FOE, or 24,598.455 FOE for a low end, which is pretty high by comparison, and likely means that Snowball needs more than just physical force to finish Grapefruit off.

We could also give him his KitchenMon, which not only gives him an advantage in numbers, but a much wider array of haxes, such as Grandpa Lemon’s Sleep Manipulation or Liam’s Transmutation that Snowball has no defenses against.

If we do start giving Grapefruit optional stuff however, then Snowball should get the Power of Two, which would allow him to do very similar stuff, combined with methods like BFR or Transmutation that would bypass Grapefruit's regen completely regardless.

Tertiary Factors

This is a category Grapefruit has a definitive edge in. Snowball doesn’t have many feats of combat outside of easily overpowering other contestants, and he’s a complete idiot, when compared to Grapefruit who is fairly knowledgeable and comparable to Black Belts or at least has a lot more knowledge in combat with actual training by comparison.

Conclusion

So ultimately, this fight kind of depends on what you give both of these two. Starting off with base stuff, assuming Grapefruit doesn't have regen, then Snowball would completely pummel him and win. Assuming he does, then he can survive a lot of what Snowball can do but wouldn't really have anything to attack him with. If we give them everything, both have a lot of methods to finish the other off, like Sleep Manipulation or BFR, but SB's higher speed would let him outpace Grapefruit and land the hit first.
Ultimately, I originally thought this match was close, and it is still closer than I originally thought (I always thought BFDI characters were Star Level, while AO was just Building Level, but now we see higher end stuff say otherwise), but thanks to SB having the Power of Two, it's most likely that he would land a win-con eventually, even if he wouldn't be very strategic with his power, especially since we do know that even small fractions can still work on contestants, which themselves are generally stronger than Grapefruit, making him all too vulnerable to a lot of what SB can do. To say the least, there was snow way for Grapefruit to come out on top.

Grapefruit has been Slaughtered.

The Winner is Snowball.
